Howdy I received diawa ECA1002MHFB only all I use are spinning reels Can I use a spinning reel on this rod? How bad of an idea will it be considering the offset heart is pretty far from reel seat.

The rod model that you accept is designed to be used with conventional reels. A spinning reel would fit on the rod and y'all would be able to fish with it, however the guide layout would significantly hinder your ability to cast well. Also, the blank is designed to curve in the opposite direction than it would if you were line-fishing the rod with a spinning reel. I would strongly suggest getting a different rod that is designed for spinning reels.
